This welcoming, community‑based event brings together local organizations, artists, and advocates in a space for dialogue, learning, and creative exchange. Through a creative market presented by Luck and Lavender and opportunities to connect with community partners, visitors are invited to explore menstrual health through the lens of dignity, accessibility, and social inclusion.
By recognizing Menstrual Health Day, the NAC highlights the essential role that arts, culture, and community play in strengthening collective understanding and fostering meaningful change. Open to everyone, the event encourages respectful conversation while celebrating creativity, resilience, and collective action.

Menstrual product drive – hosted by The Period Purse
The Period Purse is a national registered charity dedicated to addressing period poverty in every community across Canada. They will be with us to host a mini product drive and collect period products to help menstruators in our community experiencing period poverty. By contributing to this Mini Drive, you’ll be helping provide vital period products to those who need them most, supporting the mission of menstrual equity, and making a real difference in our community.
What you can donate:
- New Cloth Pads
- Unused individually wrapped Pads, Liners, and Tampons (open boxes are acceptable)
- New Menstrual Cups or Discs
- New Regular Underwear
- New Period Underwear
