A Hub for GBTQ+ Newcomers

Moving to a new country can be exciting, but also challenging – even more so for queer men, non-binary folks and trans people.

It is a social and educational group for GBTQ+ newcomers. Queerspora hopes to provide some ease to GBTQ newcomers during their journey of trying to find their way in a new home and building trust and connections. The group also aims to equip newcomers with sexual health toolkits and knowledge that they can use in their everyday lives in Canada.

Topics discussed include sexual health and wellness, navigating hookup apps & cruising spaces. Activities will include visits to museums, parks, and more. Queerspora is an opportunity to get to know the city and familiarize yourself with the local queer scene and resources.
