Mental Health Navigation

MAX can help create a navigation plan, connecting you to the proper resources through our 3 step approach:

INTAKE
Meeting to discuss your needs and explore options that will work best for you.

REFERRAL
We'll help you make a referral that suits your goals and works for you financially.

FOLLOW-UP
On the two week and three-month mark, we will follow up to ensure that you are satisfied with the outcomes.

The walk-in counselling clinic for LGBT2SQ+ individuals and those close to them is offered every Wednesday from 12-8 PM at Centretown Community Health Centre (420 Cooper Street). The last session is at 6:30 PM.
 
This clinic offers support for life's challenges from trained and professional counsellors from the LGBT2SQ+ community. Single-session services are free, no appointment necessary, and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Sessions are approximately 1.5 hours in length.

Gay ZONE provides a wide range of programs and services for gay, bi, trans men and other men who have sex with men in the Ottawa area.

We offer rapid HIV testing, mental health navigation, peer support, and general sexual health information through partnerships with The Somerset West Community Health Centre and The AIDS Committee of Ottawa. Want to get harm reduction supplies?

Every Thursday, at Gayzone, 420 Cooper Street, 5 to 8 pm.

Our peer volunteers are there to dispense harm reduction materials, answer some of your questions on substance use and sex, and provide referrals to other appropriate services. For more information on our harm reduction service, please connect with us :
